last night's roast pork tenderloin making an appearance with apple, cornichon and butter lettuce with a mustard dressing on the nice wholewheat from Wholefoods
fresh mozzarella, prosciutto crudo and some delicious yellow pepper in oil, garlic and parsley on a baguette with artichoke paste (we roasted the peppers this morning - without setting off the smoke alarm)
when there's no one else around we can indulge in the last tin of mackerel brought back from the co-op in Italy - on toasted baguette with a little mayo, white wine vinegar and chili powder along with a salad of endive and parsley and pine nuts
the often overlooked, or forgotten about egg salad - this one we made with mustard, mayo and chili powder on toast with cornichons and parsley, a green and radicchio salad and the fantastic pita chips

continuing cold, so today we have butternut squash soup; roasted red peppers, zucchini, shallots along with fresh spinach, crucolo from Trentino and cibatta
