long time no Acme! so today is a classic: their pastrami smoked salmon and cream cheese, cucumber, cornichons and dill on pumpernickel bread with a fennel salad.
we spent the morning grilling veg - eggplant, yellow squash, shallots, orange peppers and tomatoes with feta cheese and couscous with toasted pine nuts
a nice zucchini, onion and baked ricotta frittata with a mixed green, radicchio and fennel salad; bread is a sort of sourdough from Sullivan St (Essex St Mkt)
It still feels like winter so Anna made a potato & leek soup this morning which we had with an arugula and endive salad, prosciutto di Parma and artichoke heart
